Senior Master Carson Clews’ NORTHWEST EXPERIENCE!
GOOD MORNING CLASS! My 3rd Year to participate in Senior Master Carson Clews’ NORTHWEST EXPERIENCE!
Teaching Qigong and Tai Chi to both adult and kid teams at an event brings a unique blend of energy and fun, creating a vibrant learning atmosphere. I was up at 4:30 am in preparation (never can sleep late before a trip!) I was at the venue by 8AM, even though my first class wasn’t due to start until 8:40!🤪
The Adult Class was first on the schedule at 8:40 AM! I had students in the class who have participated with me for 3 years running now! They really loved the gentle movements and said it was a great Start to their day.
Next came the Kids Class at 10 AM! For the kids, teaching Tai Chi 9 Dragons was an opportunity to harness their natural energy and curiosity, channeling it into movements that are both calming and fun. Kids enjoy the imaginative aspect of Tai Chi, where they can pretend to be animals or elements of nature, making the experience both educational and entertaining. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY by how fast they learned the names and routine! And they are SILLY!
The change of pace and venue is particularly beneficial for both age groups. For adults, it breaks the monotony of daily life, offering a chance to connect with others in a different setting. For kids, a new environment often means new opportunities for exploration and learning, making the experience more memorable. The outdoor or unfamiliar venue often brings a sense of adventure and excitement, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.
I am a person who loves Routine, but I love this change of pace once a year! It’s Fun and I get to share training I absolutely love. I look forward to doing it again next year!
